About Exthub

What it is

Exthub is a place to discover, share, and install community-built extensions for Ableton Live. Extensions are small JavaScript tools built on Ableton's official Extensions SDK, they show up as right-click actions anywhere in your Set. Think quick MIDI utilities, track helpers, workflow shortcuts. Things that should have been built in but weren't.

What it isn't

• Not affiliated with Ableton AG in any way. This is a community project.
• Not an official Ableton product or endorsed distribution channel.
• Not a plugin store. Extensions use the SDK, not the old Max for Live or VST model.
• Not a replacement for reading Ableton's own SDK docs. Start there if you're building.

Who runs it

One person. Built from a desire to make extensions more discoverable and accessible. Not a corporation, not a business, not a startup. Just a hobby project for the community.
