Privacy

The short version: we don't want your data, we don't sell it, and we collect as little as possible to make the site work.

What we collect

—If you sign in with GitHub: your GitHub username, display name, and profile avatar. That's it. No email address, no access to your repositories, no GitHub activity.
—Extension downloads: a count per extension. No record of who downloaded what. Anonymous installs are just a number going up.
—Favorites: if you're signed in and favorite an extension, we store that association so we can show it back to you.

What we don't collect

✓ No email addresses
✓ No payment information — the site is free, full stop
✓ No ad tracking, no analytics scripts, no third-party trackers
✓ No browsing history or behavior tracking
✓ No selling or sharing data with anyone

Sign in is optional

You can browse and download every extension on this site without an account. Sign-in (via GitHub OAuth) is only required if you want to submit an extension or save favorites. If you never sign in, we have nothing on you.

Cookies

We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in. No tracking cookies, no marketing pixels, no cross-site anything. If you don't sign in, no cookies are set.

Data deletion

Want your account and data removed? Email us at privacy@exthub.co and we'll delete everything associated with your account. No questions, no retention period, just gone.
